David Fanning a famous person in the Revolutionary War . David Fanning was born in 1755 in Amelia County, Virginia. His father Daivd Fanning also drowned in the Deep River before his son was even born.Before his death the family had moved to what is now Wake County. By 1764 Fanning and his sister was orphaned and put under new control. Fanning was was put under the control of a county justice Needham Bryan. David moved with his family to Orange County and had earned a reputation for being good at tamming horses. He also recovered form the scald head disease, then he became bald. In 1773 Fanning moved to south carolina settled on a creek, there he farmed and traded with the natives(indians). But as the war started David helped capture gun powder and patriots. When most of the loyalist where captured David fled to the cherooke intill the heat calmed down. But when things cooled down David was back at it again intill a battle he led left him injured in september, 1781. When he returned the war was looking good for him. So he asked for a parden and did not receive and in April David married Sarrah Carr and begin looking for ways to leave the state. David lived the rest of his life in the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. And had kids and died on March 14,1825.

Benjamin played an important part in protesting the stamp act and alot of other acts. Franklin was all about american right from Great Britian and fought when the british let him go from beinging inprisoned. But as soon as he returned to america he had to get some pay back I guess. But he new if they lost he would be punished alot since he sided with the Americans an betrayed the british so this pushed him to work harder against the british as a soldier of words.
